How do I use a map seed on Rust Console Edition?

Set the seed and world size in your server's startup settings — server.seed for the seed and server.worldsize for the size — then wipe or start the server so the world regenerates. Every map on rcemaps.com gives you the exact boot commands to copy.

Will the map I preview here match my server exactly?

The terrain, biomes, coastline and overall island layout are generated from the seed and world size, so they match what your server builds. Monument positions are not predicted, so treat the preview as the landscape, not the monument layout.

What world sizes can I use on Rust Console?

rcemaps.com previews the common sizes from 1000 up to 4500. Changing the world size changes the map completely, so always preview a seed at the same size your server will actually run.

Can I customise the terrain with commands?
